Hey PPC Champions,

Has any of you succeeded in a white hat pay per call vertical (insurance, edu, travel, legal, etc.) to the extent that you started taking calls yourself instead of selling them? I'd love to get in touch with somebody who did this. Would be happy to pay for your time if we could hop on a quick Skype call. PM me for details.

Thanks!

Operating your own call center is a beast. Staffing and keeping your employees motivated and hungry is a huge pain in the ass. That said, if you control the scripting, you can tweak it to make it work for the traffic so there is no disconnect.

There's thousands of call centers out there. Unless and until you reach massive scale, just hire one of them to do the dirty work for you. It will cost you some margin but it will save you a lot of time and hassle.
Once you reach massive scale and have the bank full of money, you can start thinking in building your own call center.

I mean, why not just hire 2 people to get an idea of how to run? That's what I want to do but I hardly even know where to start.

@OP, you messaged me about this. I run in Travel and I can drive pretty good traffic at decent scale, i'd like to run my own center too.
