Hi setting up a first leadgen campaign on facebook, just checking in to see which way you set it up
since this an affiliate offer i choose conversion as my objective
but than its asking me for the facebook pixel which I don't have since I will go straight to the offer page
which way do you guys setup your leadgen campaigns on facebook

From my test, Facebook lead gen is for you to capture leads directly from facebook without the user having to leave the site. You can either download the lead manually or link it directly to your CRM . While you are running an affiliate link, you cant choose a conversion point as the benchmark since you have no direct control on the site and the advertiser can't add your facebook pixel, will be better for you to do clicks to your website ...........
HI thanks for the reply although it has to be done directly on the advertisers sites otherwise i wont get paid for the lead...
Create a conversion campaign and optimize for conversions. Place pixel in CPA Network and wait til you get 20-25 conversions, that's when the algo will start optimizing your campaign for you. To keep the momentum going, make sure you receive 10 conversions / adset / day.
