I've been drilling down into my tracker and notice that my Android LP CTR is roughly 50% higher than my Iphone LP CTR rate over a large sample size.
So I looked and noticed that my LP wasn't loading that well on Iphone devices, so I switched landers and checked to see everything was fine with the new lander on an Iphone.
Then I ran some traffic again and noticed roughly the same numbers.
Any idea why there could be such a big discrepancy?
This is for the US geo if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.
Noticed the same thing with my data over a long period of time. Think it could be a mixture of factors, one being that the demographic of iphone users are more sophisticated internet users in general. Other factors being that iphone browsers automatically blocks a lot of scripts that increase ctr on android such as exit scripts, vibrate, noise ect.
I think most affs see higher CTRs on Android than iOS, at least for common offer types. I certainly do. Clubdrock gives some good explanations as to why.
