Hey guys, I haven't had much to contribute since I've joined but I've decided to do a total 180 degrees from since I joined. My last two drop shipping sites working in similar niches went down due to issues with the payment gateway, and instead of working around them I just decided to drop them and move to media buying, more affiliate type work.
Well, after I read the "new things in 2017" I saw drop shipping was one of the hot fields, and so I figured I better just stick to what I know. I've ran 4 ecom sites, first was a disaster, I was young, but still profitable. Next I made my first decent chunk of money online, next two went spectacular and I hit a goldmine in one awesome niche (which I'm currently rebuilding atm).
So some quick info, I used
Anyways, if you're looking to get into drop shipping or actual eCommerce (I've only ran one of those, but setting another one of those up as well) and don't really know what you're doing, or need some basic guidance or have any questions feel free to ask me. I've dealt with this type of stuff a lot so hopefully I'll be able to answer your question. I also plan on doing a journey once I get my site set back up, that may be a bit more helpful but let's see how this goes
We do all paid advertising for our ecom stuff. So I'd love to learn some of how you do things virally. We spend a lot everyday but I've always thought the added viral/social component could really help boost things.

Would be great to chat.
I will start with a curiosity I have about eCommerce, in how it relates to affiliate marketing...
How come you didn't look into paid traffic so far?
Facebook generally makes it harder and harder to reach your audience without paying too, so "free" traffic is something shrinking more and more, isn't it?
A few questions:
1. What percentage of your sales volume was upsells?
2. Did you offer a 'me-too', copycat sort of ecom product? If so, what was the refund rate?
3. What sort of social media automation did you do? What tools?
4. Why did you run 4 sites? Why not just stick with one business and scale it up?
5. Did you sell your customer data? Why or why not?
6. How did you create the concept for your products? What inspired you?
7. If free traffic converted for you, why didnt you scale into paid traffic?
8. Why are you 'rebuilding'? What happened?
9. What was the lifetime value of your customer, versus the initial sales value?
10. Did you have an emailing strategy for customers? What was it, or why not?
How did the social automation work? Where did you scrape content from or what do you mean by automation?
Can you give some general guidelines for niche selection - stuff that works, doesn't piss off the major traffic sources like FB/Google
Do you use sellers on AliExpress or similar?
When you say "actual ECom site" what additional aspects are you handling that you don't for a regular drop shipping site?
Thanks for doing this!
