Steps to Success in Mobile Sweeps (7)

I just joined STM today! super excited

So a little about me.. I officially started this journey when I decided to take Charles Ngo's Affcelerator course in August to jump start this process.

I really want to start this follow along to help anyone thats struggling with the same things that I am and one day look back at the progress that was made.

I decided to focus on Mobile sweeps on pop traffic.

Here is what I have going on so far:

Vertical: Lead Gen - iPhone 7 offers
Geos: DE
Traffic Source: Propeller Ads
Networks: ClickDealer, Yep Ads, Mpire
Landers: Adplexity - had a developer take out the sneaky codes and I translated everything with 1 hour translator.
Payout: $2.57

What I have been doing so far is doing 1 campaign in different Geos and everytime I notice its not working I moved to another Geo but I came to realize I wasn't optimizing properly. I read in one of the forums that you have to either mass test Landers with few offers or other way around. So giving this method a try.

Germany Campaign - Day 1

3 Landing Pages
2 Offers
Traffic Daily budget: $10

I have been cutting placements that go over the CPA amount of the offer.

So far I have had 2,134 Visits, only 33 Clicks (1.55% CTR), and 0 Conversions.

I don't have enough data to know which landing page I should cut.

What should my next action be? let it run more? add more landers? more offers?

My opinion it's to start in a lower country with less competition for that budget. 10 $ per day it's low on pops.

As blackemil mentioned, your budget is too low. To make sweeps in Germany on Propeller work, you will need at least $100-200/day budget.

And you will probably want to choose a different vertical if you want to save yourself months of struggle.

Now you want him to enter his personal information, and a lot of that.

To make it work you need to cut a LOT of placements. Then you need to steal the good placements from guys running sweeps since years on your traffic source. Not an easy play.

I could organize a meetup of guys who tried making sweeps + pop work, with at least 3-6months invested without any green, and the event would be sold out.

You can save yourself a lot of trouble picking another vertical. Two exceptions, GEOs with Pin Sweeps, or GEOs where sweeps haven't been run to death (e.g. think latam,asia if you can find a good offer).

Thank you for your feedback! I have been focusing on German speaking countries to use the same landers I have but I will take your word for it an try to find tier 3 countries.

Welcome @carolynnn and I definitely concur.

$10 is going to be a real struggle to get anything working anywhere. You really need to invest in data and data costs money. I might save up a little bit.

Then make sure' you're choosing a high converting offer with a low CPA. That way you have to buy as little data as possible to see if what you're doing is going to work.

@a4dteam Thanks so much! Ya all my offers are below $2 I didn't realize how difficult it is in some european countries. Going to try Asia an see how that works out. I will post an update soon!
