Optimizing Revcontent CPC Bid [Newbie]

So i've been using Revcontent for the past few days and have developed a blacklist of widget ids (about 200) and now it seems my traffic is much higher quality and has less bots. Now that I have this blacklist in place, i had to increase my bid to get more volume, but i'm finding the increase is just too expensive for the amount of traffic i'm getting. I've read a lot about bidding high and low and I have a couple questions about this:

1.) I am currently bidding anywhere around $.02-$.05 per click, If i just set the bid to something like $.20/click, could it eventually cost cheaper than $.05/click?

2.) If I am bidding low and I am getting excellent quality traffic, but very low volume, what are some ways to get higher volume, but still keep the price per click the same? Right now my limit is set to $100/day, but it's only spending $10/day. Would setting my budget to $1000/day increase it to spending $100/day?

Thanks in advanced!

from experience setting a budget cap does restrict the amount of traffic (I always use unlimited for t3 geos as having a budget spends less)

for the bids im in the same boat as you and I have the exact same questions as it looks like increasing bids doesn't mean higher quality traffic and often makes it go in the red.

Have you tried revcontent's CPM bid? My rep suggested it to me but I haven't tried it yet, I should soon however

Bidding high on native is not the way to get more traffic. It quickly gets too expensive.

Best way to double or tripple traffic is running all devices. Most things you can make work on desktop, mobile & tablet.

Second best is to run several angels and creatives. Each creative / angel has a certain ctr with the widgets it runs against. If you run only a low amount of creatives you will only unlock a couple of widgets that have a high ctr with the creative. All the rest you'll never see. If you run a broad range of creatives and angels you can unlock lots of widgets for cheapo.

If that isn't for you, you can create bid baskets, so you bid high only for high quality widgets. You can as well create a camp to bid into the dark to unlock new placements (high bid camp with blacklist for everything that currently sends traffic).
