Server and Cloudflare

Hello STM users!
I have a question about servers GEO location.

I am using selfhosted tracker + DigitalOcean Frankfurt droplet + cloudflare for LP's and tracker domains.

I want to try some others GEO (Asia).

So if i will buy Singapore droplet:
1. Do i need this if Iam already using cloudflare?
2. Should i place only LP's there or tracker too? (I mean selfhosted tracker gives me only 1 domain to use with its licens).
3. Should i also use cloudflare with Singapore droplet? (Or it make no sense?)

Thx!

No, you don't need a second droplet if you're using Cloudflare PROPERLY.

Using Cloudflare for affiliate purposes, you should have a PageRule set up to "Cache Everything" for your entire server. Otherwise you won't see the speed advantages.

If you have Cloudflare set up with that PageRule, it doesn't matter where your server is - Cloudflare will serve worldwide.

That should answer questions 1 and 3

As for the tracker - in an ideal world you'd have it close to your target Geo, yep. But you probably don't need to buy a second license just yet unless it's a tiny cost for you. Use the tracker in Frankfurt for now and consider getting a tracking location closer to Asia when you have some campaigns working.

Thank you for the reply.
I'm also using CloudFlare for both of self-serve tracker domain and landing page.

Question:
I understand that it's good to set the PageRule to "Cache Everything" for the landing page domain.
I wonder if I should also set "Cache Everything" rule for the tracker domain which is campaign link.
(I think campaign link should not be cached but don't know if it's no problem.)

Nope, don't cache the tracker link. You'll break your stats if you do.

TBH I'd avoid Cloudflare touching the tracker domain at all - it doesn't help, will slow response down, and might introduce errors.
