Desktop vs Mobile Responsive LP (2)
My LP gets a 28% CTR from desktop devices. Same exact LP gets half of that, 14%, when viewed from mobile devices.
It is mobile responsive too.
Is it hopeless to expect those figures to be closer together or the speed difference from people's devices are that much wide?
I mean, are there techniques, apart from general CTR Landing page optimization, that would make a tremendous difference on the mob performance only?
LP CTR is pretty much always lower with mobile traffic, compared to desktops. The main reason is "unintentional clicks", some call it the big-finger syndrome 
Sometimes it's hard to hit the "x" to close an ad, especially for older people and young kids playing games. On the other hand, mobile traffic is also usually cheaper because of this - unless we talk about carrier billing traffic, which can be very expensive in some GEOs.
Sometimes it helps to make the LP simpler, less info is easier to fit on a smaller screen.
