40% click difference between RevC and Voluum, time zone difference?

Hey guys

I need urgent help here as i am experiencing serious click lost from RevC to Voluum, i am throwing away 40% of my money if i cant solve this...anyway, for most of my campaigns, i have huge difference between the clicks recorded in RevC and the visits recorded in Voluum, have anyone experienced this before?

Current data:
Number of clicks recorded in RevC: 5350
Number of visits recorded in Voluum: 3077
Difference/click lost: 42%

The best way is to hit up to my AM and ask, the problem is i am doing BH, cloaking using TA.

TA stats (This is very close with my voluum stats):
Impression: 3206
Cloaked: 107
Cloaked rate: 3%

I have turned off my cloaker and sent my AM the stats, she say she will look into it on monday...

I am quite sure my tokens setup are correct, but just in case, i have the URLs as followed:

Voluum URL:
http://track.abc/1234567?utm_conten...[utm_targeting]&utm_widget_id=[utm_widget_id]

TA URL:
http://track.abc/1234567?utm_conten...[utm_targeting]&utm_widget_id=[utm_widget_id]

Safe page URL:
http://domain.com/help-me/?utm_cont...eting={adv_targets}&utm_widget_id={wid get_id}

Could this be because of the time zone difference?
Voluum time zone: UTC +7
RevC time zone: EST

Have anyone experienced this before or can anyone identify what's wrong with the setup?

Cheers!

Your about 2 hours out on times aren't you? Use voluums custom time range report.

Set Voluum to UTC-5 and the "clickloss" will be gone

Another issue separate from the timezone thing: Lots of discrepancies between Voluum visits and Revcontent visit numbers in general, especially on individual widgets or targets. (But usually it goes the other way around, where Voluum numbers are higher, so it doesn't apply here.)

An AM at Revcontent told me that in general, you want to trust the Rev numbers because they send bot traffic to Voluum, and then later don't charge you for it. So the Rev numbers are usually lower, but accurate, and you should be using the Rev numbers for all your metrics.

Can anyone confirm this???

Hey guys, thanks for your reply! i adjusted the time zone and it's still way far out from RevC record. I talked to the AM and she told me generally 20% discrepancies is normal, but for my case it's too serious, she have to get the operation team to dig into it. She also mentioned it's better not to use brackets { } but using < > instead. Also to use the tracking builder? This is normally more accurate than the URL string.

Can anyone confirm this?? and how do i change on Traffic armor instead?

For my case is RevC clicks are way higher than Voluum number of visits. I have not experienced your situation before though.

Have you checked that all your creatives have the right tracking URL and non is pointing to an archived Voluum campaign?

In regards of tracking:

?utm_content_id={content_id}&utm_boost_id={boost_i d}&utm_targeting={adv_targets}&utm_widget_id={widg et_id}

Otherwise let your AM pull you the spend per widget and compare if you have a widget that is not working correctly / overreporting.
