I have a set of LPs that hasn't been active in about a week or so - all for the same dating offer. I noticed I was still getting clicks on it...I checked back in the history with the first 6 numbers or so from the IP and I've been getting 3-4 visits/day to the lp from the same range of IPs for almost a month now with no referrer showing up in 202.
Have you ever heard of something like this? Is that the advertiser checking active links to their site or something?
getting clicks on LPs that aren't running freaks me out a bit in general, but the same IPs over and over is even weirder.
changed the offer link last night so the page wasn't pointing to the advertiser anymore...got 3 more hits today. same IP area....anyone ever had this before? I tried running a whois and it's private.
