help with has offers postback not working

Hi All,

when I get a conversion it gets to the network (they use hasoffers)
my postback in Voluum is like this: http://mgw1k.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid={offer_id}&payout={goal_id}&txid={sou rce}

and in Voluum I entered the offer url like this: http://mydomain.com/aff_c?offer_id=8888&aff_id=88888{clickid}&subid2={ campaign.id}

any idea why its not working, I see conversions in the offer network but its not being posted back to my voluum account

any help would be appreciated
thank you

the postback on your network should look something like :

http://mgw1k.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid={aff_sub2}&payout={payout}

And in Voluum your offer url should be :

http://offer-url.com/?a=123&c=123&aff_sub2={clickid}

the first part you should ask your AM to put as a global postback for your account, and the 2nd URL (the one you put in Voluum), you need to get the offer URL from the affiliate network and add a subid to it.

in this example I used aff sub 2, but ask your manager which one you should use (sometimes they use a couple themselves, sometimes you can just use #1)

hope it helped

Hey guys,

Just one correction for the offer URL -
Instead of using s2, you'll need to use aff_sub2= parameter to pass click ID when the global postback URL uses the corresponding token - {aff_sub2}
s2 parameter isn't recognized by HasOffer networks.

Golden rule, parameters used in the offer URL and tokens mapped in the postback URL need to match.

Regards,
Adrian

Just one small addition for the OP to keep in mind : always make sure to separate additional parameters with a "&", I noticed it was missing in the offer url too.

Thank you all for the reply, I really appreciate it, along with your replies (very greatful thanks) I got an email from one of the Voluum reps and they told me to enter it like this however it still did not work

http://domain.go2cloud.org/aff_c?offer_id=8888&aff_id=88888&subid2={campaign. id}&aff_sub2={clickid}

http://mgw1k.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid={aff_sub2}&payout={goal_id}&txid={sou rce}

Voluum Rep replied this

Please check in BizProfits if the parameter aff_sub2 is the correct one to store custom data - I've found the article about it, but it doesn't show all variables on screen in point 6. If that's the correct one you should also check if the subid2, you've used to pass campaign.id is also correct. the article in question was thisL https://bizprofits.com/blog/postback...or-cpa-offers/

Although so far I am unable to track conversions so I paused the campaign as we all know a campaign without proper tracking is working Blind

let me know f you know what I need to modify to make this work so I can get the conversoins in Voluum
thank you All

I hope that "amp;" in your first link is just a copy/paste error? Could you please verify that it's not in your actual offer link in Voluum?

Also - "subid2" doesn't look like a valid HasOffers token. Could you try replacing it with "aff_sub" instead? To clarify, try:

http://domain.go2cloud.org/aff_c?offer_id=8888&aff_id=88888&aff_sub={campaign .id}&aff_sub2={clickid}

Also - instead of using goal_id, use payout, and lose the txid for now because I'm not sure if you're setting it to the right token (and it's an optional variable anyways):

http://mgw1k.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid={aff_sub2}&payout={payout}

Try these to see if you could get things working. If so, try to add the txid back.

(Note: Please remove the spaces in the links above - it's a glitch with BBCode.)
