Hey all
I'm currently using Trackdrive as a means of tracking my calls - but it costs so much - even at its most discounted rates.
Does anyone use Vantage? I think that's what it's called. I hear it's much cheaper. Can't find a webpage for it though.
I just want to get pay per call set up with different buyers on a system that isn't going to eat away up to half of my fucking profit on any given day.
Have you tried callfire?
Not sure if it has what you need - as an affiliate, most of the tracking is done by network
Na callfire isn't a pay per call tracking system, its a call routing system.
In the past I've used Invoca (through aff networks), Retreaver and now Trackdrive. The last two were for setting up buyers direct. Retreaver doesn't exist anymore though.
If anyone knows anything about Vantage, I'd love to hear more about it.
Or any call tracking system that you can use to set up individual buyers in>
Retreaver is awesome - been using them for years!
Dialogtech is the new one people are starting ot use...
If you're doing decent minutes volume (starting around 60k+ monthly minutes), Dialogtech will be significantly cheaper than Invoca/Retreaver. They do require a monthly minimum commitment agreement in order to secure those lower rates.
Vonage is even cheaper than Dialogtech, but the feature set is lacking in comparison. So if you need something like dynamic number insertion or a robust call buyer routing/reporting system, I wouldn't necessarily recommend Vonage for call tracking.
It depends on the vertical though . If you are doing TS then you don't have as much options. Dialog tech doesn't take on new TS clients anymore and Retreaver banned TS a while ago. Track drive is what we are using on our TS network and its a perfect solution for our needs. Vonage is sure cheaper the TrackDrive , but you have to do routing manually , it all depends on your needs and business model.

I used to own Retreaver, but had an amicable split and now own TrackDrive. If you just want really inexpensive call routing, then Vonage by all means is what you want to use. If you do Ad Spend Optimization and/or if you have a ton of buyers, TrackDrive is a good solution for you as the lower ad spend and the higher revenue thru our smart routing will far outweigh the saving on call costs vs Vonage.
The biggest differences on TrackDrive vs Retreaver are:
1) the buyer and traffic source have separate conversion settings on TD, vs a call converts so both ts and buyer convert on Retreaver,
2) TrackDrive has Traffic Source Capping,
3) TrackDrive has an ad optimizer to allow you to easily run Ad Network Traffic and find the keywords/siteids/whatever that are making the phone ring,
4) TrackDrive has day-parting throughout the system to allow for Concurrency Caps to be set in one buyer record using any day-parting range you wish.
5) TrackDrive has a Real Time Bidding System to allow your buyers to change prices in real time to increase their call flow.
I am glad I finally joined the STM (Stack That Money) Forum. Thanks to all who have acknowledged I joined on Skype
Anyone have thoughts on Caller Ready? http://www.callerready.com
Pros & cons?
Trackdrive is a very good alternative to Retreaver or Invoca.
https://app.ringba.com is not bad as well
Out of interest are all the likes of invoca/retreaver/calleready etc built of the back of twilio/ plivio infrastructure?
@clickwork, the answer is some are: Retreaver=100% Twilio, Invoca=Some Twilio, TrackDrive = 100% Plivo today, but adding in a Level3, Verizon, AT&T, etc backbone this week), I don't know about callerready or others. Some I would think would try to be more direct to the upstream carriers to max revenue, but that requires much more engineering.
