Hey Guys!
Is anyone have problem with approving trial nutra offers on RevContent? Becuase I do, however if to spy in adplexity, there are a lot trial skin/muscle offers running there.
Every time when I'm sending ads on approval for Trial offer, I'm receiving email from complience with info like this:
"General Issues:
1. Third Party Trial Offers
http://faq.revcontent.com/support/so...0-trial-offers
The following elements are not permitted:
Failure to include a clear and conspicuous disclosure in a manner that is likely to be seen and noticed by users indicating that participation may require joining a subscription program, the user may be billed until the user cancels and other charges may apply. (Ex.: “Participation may require joining a subscription program in which you will be billed until you cancel. See the terms and conditions on the website for details. S&H and other charges may apply.”)
2. Billing - Material Terms
http://faq.revcontent.com/support/so...568947-billing
Failure to have disclosure of S&H and the other material terms (including rebill terms) of the offer displayed prominently and in close proximity to the credit card submit field.
3. Billing - Affirmative Consent
http://faq.revcontent.com/support/so...mative-consent
Failure to provide users the opportunity to affirmatively consent to recurrent billing or subscriptions."
What is the solution to this? How other guys running Trial offers there? Do cloaking or just finding the offers which meet the requirements?
Thanks!
Here's the tough part with RevContent's compliance with regards to re-bills. They won't approve your offer unless you put all sorts of terms and check-boxes on the offer page. They essentially want you to make it crystal clear to the customer that they're going to be hit with a $90 charge in 2 weeks. Problem is if you do that and make it 100% compliant your CR will drop by over 50% (I know this from experience) and you will be competing will people who can bid higher than you because they are running non-compliant. The offers you are seeing when spying are almost definitely cloaked.
