Hi All,
I'm a beginner AM, and in the "Terms an Conditions" of my first campaign I find This:
CAP: 100/Aff/Day
- DISPLAY: YES
- EMAILING: YES
- SITE UNDER: YES
- INCENTIVE TRAFFIC: NO
- GEOS: DACH, FR, BE, IT, NL,TR, ES, FI, DK, NO, SE, ZA, JP
So, what does "CAP" mean?
Thank's in advance for reply!
It means that there is a cap of 100 leads (conversions) per affiliate per day with this offer.
For example, if you are approved to run this offer you can do up to 100 conversions per day. This is the budget the network is allocating for you.
However, I suggest that you ask your AM if this is really the case.
^What Oran said - he's a very experienced AM.
While chatting with your AM, you may also want to ask whether it would be possible for that cap to be lifted in the future. There are different reasons why caps are put in place. Sometimes they're there because the advertiser has a limited budget. And then sometimes they're there to make sure the affiliate won't generate too many leads before they can verify your lead quality properly.
In the latter case, once the advertiser is satisfied with your quality, they'll likely either increase or lift your cap. Your AM should be able to tell you if this is the case or not.
