Hi all,
A bit of a newbie question but I want to find out the actual conversion value my ads are bringing in i.e. if I have an FB ad that keeps getting everyone to buy 2-3 products as opposed to one then it should have a higher conversion value. What is the best way for me to track and view this, are there apps or external software that integrates this?
Currently I am looking at the 'purchase conversion value' on ads manager and dividing it by the number of conversions but it doesn't seem accurate (it looks like i'm just getting a standard 1 product per conversion and it does not factor additional purchases), am I missing something? Does
Thanks,
SP
You should be using the FB pixel and dynamically inserting the checkout value into the purchase event. I imagine there is decent documentaiton on that floating around the interwebs. That way any ads that get last-click attribution for a sale will show the full revenue amount. I'm not quite sure how you would get anything else?
Pixel perfect or trackify app should do this automatically for you.
@zeno - thanks I figured it out, it was tracking only my order and not including in shipping which is why there was a difference in my actual amounts.
@pain2k - had a look at both, is there a way I could use these to factor in the shipping costs that I am missing as well? Otherwise I don't see much of a point to use these at the moment and am worried that adding too much script will slowdown the site (the cost is neglibile in the grand scheme of things)
