Hello everybody, I hope that you guys are having a wonderful day.
I'm running sweepstakes on Popads.net right now.
After 1 day, this is my stats, I'm pretty happy because I did not even get >1 conversions, so I think this is a good sign
GEO: Spain
Payout: 0.5
I don't really know how to optimize this campaign, please enlighten me!

Hello, please tell me more about this campaign :

1. I see you are promoting Mobidea, is it their smartlink or a particular offer? Did your AM there recomend you to push Spain or was it a blind pick?
2. Its crucial to buy carrier ONLY traffic to stand a chance to profit with Mobidea or any other similar network. They are heavily focused on mobile carrier billing, sending other than carrier traffic is a waste of your time and money.
3. What was your targeting on popads - device, os ... and whatever else you can set there.

It's good that you have seen some conversions indeed, now let's take a closer look at the data you collected. Try to dig deeper and analyze the results by carrier, device, OS ... look for combinations that performed better than the rest. Also verify whether you received the traffic you actually configured your campaign at popads to send.

1) It's an offer that I picked couple days ago. So my AM manager did not say anything to me.
2) My offer is "Signup Form Submit", therefore Wifi or Carrier traffic are all accepted. And I'm buy both of them
3)My Popads setting:

+Prime spot: All traffic
+Adblock and non-adblock
+Adv type: Pop-up
+Country: Spain
+Society targeting: Spanish
+Form factors: Smartphone

Can you please tell me how to look for combinations that performed better than the rest?

Payouts in Spain for sweeps compared to the CPM for good placements are a disaster. Its brutally tough to make it work. I would think hard and long before spending any time optimizing this camp. Chances are high you're polishing a turt. If you want to stick to sweeps look into pin sweeps with decent payout. Easier to make it work.

Finally got some time to give you a proper reply, so here we go

Don't pick offers blindly when starting out - Mobidea guys will give you the exact segments of traffic to target, use that info.

I would suggest to buy non adblock traffic for now, you never know what that crap blocks.

Target Android smartphones, they pretty often convert the best.

How about LPs, are they connected well with the actual offer page, or you just randomly ripped some?

BTW : Sebastian_r is quite right, rates for mobile traffic in Spain are driven high by the carrier billing offers, I would suggest to focus on those too, just make sure to buy carrier traffic only.

I'm going to try the same offer but in different GEO: Belgium, the payout is: 0.8 (WiFi and carrier allowed). I'm also gonna add more stuff in my landing page like testimonials, alert pop up to see how it will help.
Do you have any suggestion for me on this one?

I would suggest to focus on carrier billing offers when using a network like Mobidea. Check the top performing geos/carriers and target those. PINs technically can work with wifi but the conversions are usually very poor. Talk with your AM over there, they can give you pretty accurate info on what works for them at the moment. Mobidea was created with carrier billing in mind, and they are one of the best in that field, so take advantage of it.
