WTF CPA Networks!?
I am only on two CPA networks and when I am in their back end looking for offers I find a large amount of offers that go nowhere ie. broken links to presumably offers that are dead now.
Is this common place? Makes me want to not trust them if they can't even get rid of broken links and dead offers. They could hire a minimum wage person to do that every week.
Just my two cents
What do you guys see?
Cheers,
CZ

there are simple scripts or services that can do this.
I have always thought is was 'lame' and 'unprofessional' that some networks dont seem to watch their 'inventory'
there is even a FREE service that can watch links and let you know if any changes to the page and email you.
so networks that do not do this... ya... uh huh...right :/

I've seen this a few times with EWA and had to update them about it.
Not good.

Dude I was sending traffic to an offer that they said is no longer being promoted, what a waste of my money!!
At least update that stuff and also send us notification when something changes so that we're not sending the type of traffic that is no longer allowed for that particular offer.
Oh and please send notification when payment is sent too

Yup I hear ya man. I sent $135 to an INT offer that was live and not live. I kept checking to make sure it was live. and it looked good. Only once did it redirect to some error no mans land webpage. And stupid Linktrust platform on this network didn't even update shit till like two days later. I figured maybe the system was lagging or something that particular day when I launched my campaign. Lesson learned
I find out all my clicks were being redirected to some other related offer. No conversions whatsover. This network usually sends out notifications if offer is capped by a certain time. But no notification on that day.
Think I'm going to stick with the hitpath platform networks (A4D). Atleast the clicks match to my prosper clicks in realtime. Not like cake or Linktrust. Sometimes clicks are missing by 20 or more clicks.

Pingdom works well for this and texts you when your offer goes down.
Check for string on page: blah blah blah
