Facebook Sweeps & Pins Whitehat

Hello all!

I am getting very mixed messages about running Pin submits and sweeps whitehat on Facebook such as Win Gift Card or Win iPhone.

I've read some posts on here that say that its a death to your FB account and others say they have done it for awhile.

Which one is the verdict?? I would like to run Pins or Sweeps but don't want my account banned because of false info.


P.S. If the answer is NO (Cannot run) , what is the way to do it??

Yes, running either of those will get you banned. People that do it use a cloaker (which delays the ban a bit but it still happens).

It's not wise to promote any of those products, but yes, it's possible.

This is simply not true. There are people who run pin submits here with success with no cloaking whatsoever, myself included. It's all about how you build up such an account to advertise as such.

Run ads with low negative score/spam reports on a solid (warmed up) account.

spend atleast 300$ on WH ads , do some activity ,cloak, behave as a normal, user because :

In short, as long as 1) the ad isn't deceptive, 2) the landing page the visitor lands on is compliant, 3) the offer isn't ripping people off, promising a magic bullet, and/or isn't deceptive then you're in good standing. You can however still get banned even if all three of the criteria are met.

The rationale of, "warm up an account to run compliant ads" is an oxymoron, you don't need to warm up an account if what you're running is compliant.

Tough one to promote but their a few good pin markets for sweeps I run, so dont be discouraged you just got to be careful but the upsides can be huge.
