Hey man,

I am just curious. If you are stateside then how does the new DEA regulations on CBD oil not effect you?

Also which part of the plant is 70%+ CBD?

Thanks

Hi Shakedown,

From the testing lab...

The December 13, 2016 amendment to the Code of Federal Regulations, now states that all cannabis extracts are encumbered as a Schedule 1 drug under the Controlled Substance Act. What the DEA forgot to mention is that CBD derived from Industrial hemp, as protected pursuant to the Congressionally passed 2014 Farm Act, is not specifically set forth with the Controlled Substance Act.

Sec. 7606 of the Farm Bill defines hemp as distinct from marijuana and does not treat it as a controlled substance when grown under compliant state programs. The 2014 Farm Bill was an act of congress signed by the president, which is the highest law of the land. This law by Congress defines hemp as "any cannabis sativa L that produces naturally less that .3% THC on a dry weigh basis." Furthermore, court case Hemp Industries v. DEA concluded "the DEA cannot regulate naturally occuring THC not contained within or derived from marijuana- i.e., non psychoactive hemp products- because non psychoactive hemp is not included in Schedule 1."

In layman's terms, the DEA created a new class under 'marijuana extracts' for an "internal accounting mechanism" (internal filing purposes) that includes CBD and all extracts derived from marijuana. What that does not include is CBD derived from industrial hemp as hemp is differentiated by laws passed by congress and set by precedences of previous court case conclusions. All our products are properly sourced from state compliant programs protected by the laws of congress.

It doesn't include CBD oil derived from hemp, because CBD from hemp has little to no effects beyond placebo effect.

omnico - I assume when you say "effects" you are referring to getting the user high. The benefits of CBD oils extend beyond just THC, but in a sense you are correct because you won’t get “high” but if you have seizures, headaches, pain, anxiety, depression, nausea, inflammation etc there are immense amounts of benefits and science proving these advantages of CBD. furthermore, our CBD plants are low in THC and require much less processing and refining, so a CBD derived from marijuana would require much more extensive refining to get the THC removed, resulting in a weaker molecule and less effective in treatments. So, actually, when looking at CBD alone, there are more benefits to using our hemp derived CBD rather than an illegal marijuana extract.

As I said before, we have third party potency and lab reports to provide for any interested offer owners

Thanks for the detailed reply man. I have had an interest in CBD oil lately but I have only tried the one from the cannabis plant. (I'm a medical patient in Cali)
It has worked great for anxiety when you want anxiety relief without the high. I always though the hemp CBD did nothing but you sound like the real deal if you are trying it on cancer patients.
