Website Hosting

I will be applying to a ton of networks and want to create my own website and plan on using this template.

Where should i go for hosting? I could have just created one but want to ask instead to go the best route, thank you.

For sites like this you can use any shared web hosting as it's just a presentation site. Just do a Google search and choose one that fits you.

Is it smart to create a simple website like this for acceptance into affiliate networks, meaning will i get accepted with just a general website? I just want to get accepted into any of them and start my journey.

Peerfly
Appflood
Grabads
Avazu
Adsimilis
Clickdealer
Neverblue
Mundo Media
InterG Media
AffiliaXe

Hey! It is a static website (only HTML, CSS, and potentially JS) so you can use a CDN to host it! in this STM forum page you will find the complete tutorial to get up and running

I never really had a website like that when I started (even these days I just have simple one with contact data).

You can be accepted if you show that you are serious about this business, being member of STM will help you also a lot.

Always be honest when are you applying to networks.

As noted above - being honest to us is the most important thing.

And frankly we rarely take websites into account for initial account approving - as we do a lot of ppcall when you apply to run a campaign that's when we may ask to see a website. Having said that if you have a nice business site it can help add credibility to your application.

You can use the same technique to host a simple one-page website that you use to host your landing pages. That has two advantages: it's simple, and it gets you practice doing something that you'll have to get good at doing anyway.

Use this tutorial to get going: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...-Cost-Way-Ever!

I'd generally recommend having a web presence like this around. It doesn't take long, it does make you look a bit more professional, and it can be randomly useful for networking purposes, particularly outside the industry (if you want to consult on performance marketing for a more conventional company, for example).
