So I have been working in the final expense industry for 4 years now. We are a lead generation business and we do all of our leads through direct mail. Leads can generally cost 26-32 $$. I just setup an account with click funnels. Im still in the 30 day look over period. It cost me $1000 so far. Im hoping it is worth it. I just signed up here to learn more, hoping there would be good lead generation information, but holy moly I am overwhelmed with all of the information. It's like chinese math in here! I would like to venture into full AM sometime, but lead generation is a priority.
I guess my questions are:
Am I wasting my time and money with click funnels and funnel hacks? The info seems like it is helpful. One thing that sucks is that it is all video. I am a quick reader and it seems like the videos are slow moving.
Is this a good forum for this type of thing?
Should I just stick to direct mail leads or is there a real market to tap into?
I probably should have more info for you but I am just getting started.
Thank you all for reading
I have done 7 figures spend on lead gen in 2016, feel free to hit me up on skype attilaodri
Thank you for your response IAMAttila. I'm new to Skype as well...lol. I tired to reach out to you.
No offense but not super impressed with the response to a new person seeking help in this forum.
That time of the year, affiliates milking market. Not that many people online last days. Be patient.
My main source of income for the past 4 years is lead generation for financial service products via FB, so this works very well. I am in a tier 2 country though with some direct agreements and local aff networks.
I will say that I have struggled with life and other insurance specifically via FB before but loans and debt and health works great in my experience.
I use wordpress/optimizepress landing pages though for this and not clickfunnels. Works perfectly for me and works out far less costly overall but may be more work to get going.
thank you Jared for your response
Apologies for the delay in response - I was, shall we say, Away From Keyboard on the 1st and the 2nd (coughcoughhungovercough).
I know quite a few people doing very serious numbers with the same sort of lead gen you're suggesting, using affiliate techniques. It's definitely workable, and can generate significant revenue by anyone's standards.
Having said that, it's also pretty competitive these days.
What traffic sources are you considering? That's really the first question to ask before we can give you more detailed information. Also, can you share a bit more about your overall intended strategy? For example, are you looking to convert people straight from cold traffic to lead, or are you intending to build mailing lists, then convert people on them?
As for clickfunnels - I don't use their software personally, but I hear good things from several people. You almost certainly don't need them to have success with your lead gen operations, though - provided you have appropriate software or processes to deal with the collected information on the backend, a straightforward lead capture form (with some Javascript for form validation) will do fine.

Regional Local FB ads
My goal is to offer something of value for final expenses, perhaps an end of life planning guide?

I would like to contact by phone once a lead is generated- if there is no contact they go into email drip
The question is what is a reasonable ROI on a lead? Can we generate a lead for $10 vs. direct mail $28?
