Voluum API question (12)

Voluum API question

I have only "heard" about API and never seen that in action, but I want to increase efficiency on how I optimize campaigns.

Would it be possible to automize campaign optimization through Voluum API with a set of a few rules like:

- get a list of targets/keywords in Voluum for the past 7 days for campaign A
- check that list for all targets/keywords with >100 impressions, 0 clicks, 0 conversions
- send me those non-performing targets/keywords by email
- ... or even block these targets/keywords directly in the traffic source (it the TS has a API as well)
- repeat for campaign B, C, D, ...

If that is possible, what skills do I have to search for at Upwork? Just "API" or are there specific programming languages requireed?

Yeah its possible. Had somebody create me an machine last year. It does all the work my VAs did before.

Black / Whitelisting. Bidding. Disabling of creatives / keywords / channels.

Voluum and traffic source are integrated. We did not run in too many problems, the Voluum API is pretty good.

Look for sombody who has experience / track record with API development Php, Python, Ruby...but is strong with database (MySQL) as well.

I think there are now tools out there that do at least parts of it for a reasonable fee.

We at TheOptimizer.io already have this kid of service for Native and Pop/Redirect traffic.

No more need to spend days or weeks coding and testing. Simply connect your tracker and traffic source accounts. Create automatic rules (that you can reuse anytime), black lists and more, while having accurate spend/revenue in the same place.

Hey Khzidan, Optifyme offers these services, hope you can make good use of it! there are also other platforms that do similar tasks, such as Driveads, Brax, & TheOptimizer.

Hope this helps!

thanks for your answer, but you do not have an auto-bidding option, do you?

I guess you focus on blocking campaigns and publishers, correct?

Thanks for the reply!

Actually auto-bidder is a feature that will soon be added to both our platforms.
Due to the critical nature of this feature which is directly connected to our users budgets, it requires extensive testings and monitoring in order to take out any possible doubts on its reliability.
