Hello guys, hope you are having a wonderful day.
After reading alot of articles on Pop- Sweepstakes, I decided to take action and tried to run a Sweepstakes in Belgium for offer payout of 0.75$.
I set up 3 different landing pages. (1 domain, and the other 2 are subdomains)
I plugged everything on
+Traffic Network: Zero Park
+Affiliate Network: Mobidea
+Landing pages
+My offers
But I messed up big time. I think because I set unlimited budget for ZeroPark campaigns (IOS and Android), that's why it spent really quick (136$/ 1day).
It got even worse when I checked my
When I checked my Mobidea account, it said I got 2 conversion, but Voluum and ZeroPark did not get it.
But oh well, I failed my first campaign, HARD. But I won't give up.
I need your advices. What do guys think I did wrong?
Thank you for reading.
Other than setting daily and overall budgets, you need to correct your postback on your affiliate network + tracker
There should be some tutorials on that on here I believe if you search for it
Thank you for commenting Racket, I did set up postback on my
One other tip for when setting up campaigns on ZP.
Unlike other traffic sources there is not an available option for setting the campaign on pause after approval, which means that as soon as they approve the campaign it'll start receiving traffic. To overcome this, use Day Parting by excluding 2-3 days including the actual one when submiting the campaign for approval. When you get approval you can set the campaign to pause, include the excluded days and start traffic when you need to.
At least you'll be in control when the campaign starts.
Thank you Platinum. I will start applying that from now on
It has less to do with the budget you set, but with the huge inventory of Zeropark. They have a lot of traffic. One thing with pop and redirect, often the worst placements have the most traffic. Most people running have already blacklisted them. If you show up on the battlefield without an black or whitelist, you get some nice traffic from those placements which results in quick spendings. When starting out with a small budget on sources like zeropark, you need to be very close to your tracking software and blacklist quickly. or hire somebody to do it. or write an algorithm / script for it.
Lam - did you get your postback working?
If not, here's a tutorial that may help:

Actually, your postback url may be correct - we wouldn't know because there's another, arguably bigger problem:
Thank you Amy, I have learnt that couple days ago. Won't make the same mistake again
