iFraming instead of Direct Linking?

Hey Stackers,

Isn't it better to iframe instead of direct link to an offer? When you iframe you can add instructions (maybe audio), exit pops etc. Additionally, you have full control over the offer and you can quickly swap offers if one goes down or doesn't convert.

Could I run into problems doing this?

What do you guys think? Do you do it? If not, why not?

Yes i have tried this before but usually :

1. Your site loads slower.
2. Some networks/offers dont allow this.
3. Conversions dont go through sometimes/frame breakers.

There are certain really cool things you can do with iframing. You can put celebrities on the borders and iframe an iq quiz offer. That's the value in iframing

When your AM asks, dont mention the word iframing Networks dont like it because of the way its used to abuse offers (ie hiding terms, or worse just showing the email optin field).

I would suggest testing.

I have run with and without iframes (legit) and have had very different results. Sometimes offers dont convert well in an iframe.
