Finding high volume Desktop offers (2)
After a long and profitable journey in Mobile and Native i decided to try Desktop also. The simplest way to find some of the best desktop ads that are receiving most of the traffic from the major networks is spying what other advertisers are already promoting. For that i'm going to use Desktop Adplexity, the only spy-tool i know that gathers information about Pops and Display desktop ads.
Since i have most of the traffic from PopAds, PopCash, AdCash and Propeller i'm going to start testing at first for pops. And i'm going to rip the LPs off the first 2 ads that are receiving most of the traffic in Desktop Adplexity, and also find and start promoting those specific offers.
After filtering for the ads seen in the last seven days running more than three days, and sorting by ads receiving most of the traffic, the best ads that showed up are: the first one is “Mackeeper” promoted in LATAM. And the second one is an Hair Care Coupon promoted in Malaysia.
Both of the ads are running from more than a week and occurred more than 300 times daily (300 hits and up).
The first add (MacKeeper) is promoted with a landing page in every big Latin American country. As we can see from the ad trend it is running from more than ten days, in just Mac OS. The ad is being promoted Propeller for the major part and also in Pocash and Adcash.
From the redirect chain we can find that the offer is coming from Affiliaxe.
The second ad is promoted with a landing page in Malaysia only. And we can see from the ad trend that it is running from more than ten days, in windows for most of the part and the remaining in Mac Os. The ad is being promoted Propeller for the major part and also in Pocash and Adcash.
From the redirect chain we can find that the offer is coming from BigBangAds.
24 hour later, after launching the campaigns just in Propeller, since the major part of the traffic was coming just from Propeller, I’ve got:
- From the first ad (MacKeeper) i’ve got just 1 conversion ($3.5) in Argentina after spending $12.3 in total and $4.15 just in Argentina. So i will keep running just Argentina for the moment.
- From the second ad (Hair Care Coupon) i’ve got 13 conversions ($39) after spending in total ($57). After some optimisations the offer should be profitable with this conversion rate.
