Fb Ad Scheduling

Curious question here... i havn't tried it but

Have any of you tried scheduling a campaign rather than using the continuous feature?
Being in the UK i'm thinking this may be of better use to me for example if i want to test $20 on a campaign i can set it at 12am tonight so im hitting US peak times (round abouts) and cut it off at 2am and facebook will then look to spread the $20 over the 2hrs rather than the 24hrs?

Has anyone tried and what effect does or do you think it would have on cpc (part of me says fb might try to force high priced clicks for the period but not sure)

Cheers

No, don't do that. Facebook does not have traditional "day-parting". Once the campaign hits the end of the scheduled run time, the campaign status will change to "Completed" and you won't be able to revive it.

Oh yeah.

@wildfing just stay up and start the campaigns. Best thing to do.

Yeah just pause and unpause.

If it's at an awkward time get someone to build a script to automatically do it (I'm sure if there is enough demand affexpert will make one).

Day parting certainly makes a big difference with dating campaigns.

Does anyone notice any issues when pausing and unpausing campaigns? I've always just adjusted the campaign budget way down when I want to pause for the day. I feel it has less of "reset" effect, but it could very well all be in my head.
