When an offer is worth promoting?
Hey guys,
I setup a campaign to promote a PIN SUBMIT offer with $2.5 payout.
So far i've sent $25 worth of traffic (10 times payout) and made 2 conversions without optimizing landers ( i only cut placements with CTR=0% and visits > 100 )
My questions:
1. Is this an offer that is worth optimizing? How many conversions does an offer need to take during test phrase to be considered a good offer? If i would see 0 conversions i would definitely kill it, and if i would see 10 conversions i would definitely go for it, but in this case, with only 2 conversions...?
2. When do you guys start cutting unproductive placements? Do you ban same SubID for a specific country nomatter the offer, or for every offer/vertical you test, first campaign is to test traffic and cut unproductive placements?
3. When you start a new campaign for a new offer, do you start with any placements banned (bad placements which you already know from previous campaigns for that specific country).
4. So far total CTR for this campaign is between 4% and 7% depending of time of the day, is this good/bad?
*Thank you for your unconditional help guys, i hope i can return the favor, so if you need any SEO advices or any kind of advices, do not hesitate and let me know.

The question is not so easy to answer, since there are many variables to consider here.
- You say you didn't optimize landers - how many did you test, if any? The changes in CVR can be pretty big with the right landers compated to poor ones.
- what kind of traffic is this? POPs or banner clicks?
- since this is a PIN submit offer, are you buying carrier traffic only? What does your tracker tell you, is all the traffic from the proper carrier?
As for the placements - do you see any large budget drainers in there? So placements that sent a lot of hits but no conversions? It's good to cut these at this stage and retest them later on once you have a proven channel.
In case you see some placements doing really bad in one GEO, chances are, it will suck in other GEOs too. So yes, you can block the worst placements in any new campaign you are starting.

I tested 3 landers same concept/design, different colors and headers. Traffic is popunders, all carriers 3G + WIFI, all looks ok.
Since placements with big traffic have an average CTR i imagine traffic is ok, but i need to improve lander, right? I cut only placements with 0% CTR. No significant placements have huge CTR so far. I still dont know what to do

Don't buy WIFI for this, for PIN submit offers always go after Carrier traffic only. Wifi can work in theory, but in reality it's usually not working good at all. On top of that, some traffic sources don't have proper carrier targeting. What are you using for tracking?
Sometimes you need to test literally dozens of LPs, it's annoying but that's how it is these days.
How about BOTs, did you run any bot test?

I use
Voluum, not, i did not run a bot test yet.
I'm using wwwpromoter and i don't really figured out how to get ONLY Carrier traffic

should i accept traffic only from Allowed Networks : Network / Carrier Targeting (and add carriers from that country?) This means i will not get any WIfi traffic?
Here are stats:
https://i.gyazo.com/404204b720864200...68b90bed5c.png Other means Wifi??? In this printscreen cost are not accurate, neither profit as i didnt know how to setup them when i started campaign, and i did it after that.
BTW is there a way i can target only mobile and not tablets with wwwpromoter?

Small advice: create campaign for each carrier separately because each carrier has it's own price. From my experience so far, usually one or two carriers stood out when it comes to PIN offers. This way you can buy quality traffic for each carrier without risk of overpaying or underpaying traffic and then can optimize on best one. If you don't have option to target carrier on your traffic source you can ask you AM for IP ranges for each carrier. If I'm wrong, please someone correct me
I'm from Serbia, so if you need any help regarding translations or angles for this campaign add me on skype: VASA I'll be glad to help:

Vortex (Amy) worked on a case study involving WWWPROMOTER as the traffic source, you should definitely check those threads out :
