First at all, sorry for my English... I know it's awful... (I'll be correct the mistakes which I find)
Little bit about me. I work with mobile popup/redirect traffic, pins & sweeps vertical. I use
1. So, I noticed (how could I not) when I bought 30k unique visitors I got 130k clicks (I have landing pages with one link... so if someone leaves the page - he/she can not get back... because if there is 30k visitors there could be 35k clicks max, not more).
Today - http://image.prntscr.com/image/5fed4...01f500c1a6.png
Yesterday - http://image.prntscr.com/image/77b9c...539a21a984.png
Today I bought 30k visitors and got 81k click, yesterday - 30k and 130k... I wrote about it to

).
I think it's a loop.
This is a quite common "problem", the reason is either a backbutton or an autoredirect script that is configured to send the traffic to the same "click" url as a CTA button. It's better to send it to a different campaign, so it doesn't skew your data too much.
Ok, let's see.... I had had around 6 lenders but now it's only 3. So here they are - http://image.prntscr.com/image/50da7...abf8bc8dec.png
As you can see, it's 1, 2 and 4. From all of these landers only #2 has redirect (7454 / 9282), #1 (7261 / 47698) and #4 (7873 / 6504 - the best) landers don't have. Also... I don't like and I don't see any sense when visitor's automatically go to the affiliate link if he/she click back-button... at least because these ppl want to leave page even without interesting lander.... so I think this person definitely don't be make any conversion if I redirect them to less conversion page without... preparing. So, because of it I shut off redirect and leave just blocked button. All these landers won't redirecting visitors somewhere if they click back-button. It's like this - http://image.prntscr.com/image/70b09...3bf20f9d83.png
So, it isn't autoredirect script or backbutton. Let's see differences between landers: http://image.prntscr.com/image/0e08b...1a58c5b940.png (Here little bit different value of traffic, because screen above by campaign #1, this screen - all campaigns)
I don't now... I can try to turn off audio script at lander #1.. or try to send some traffic to landers, which doesn't have any scripts..
As @matuloo said, your lander probably has a script that sends visitors to /click link when they hit back button.
And people on Android love hitting that back button a lot!
So if everyone hits it 3 times then you got 3 times more clicks.
Be careful with this as it may also cost you more money,
As I said, if visitor hit back button - they will be redirected nowhere. Because - http://image.prntscr.com/image/70b09...3bf20f9d83.png my script doesn't redirecting visitors if they hit back button...
I don't know man, I've seen this a 1000 times and it was always connected with some kind of redirect/exit/blocking script that started to send people around in "loops".
Did you code the LPs personally? My bets are still on a script that is causing this. Maybe you overlooked something?
Ok, I tested both of variants and I got...
1. I took off audio script from lander #1 (do you remember this compare? - http://image.prntscr.com/image/0e08b...1a58c5b940.png). And I got something like this - 480 visits and 1900 click... so problem not here. Not scripts.... though... idk, maybe not in this case... but:
2. I checked pages without scripts and with, so:
Ok, this happens too from time to time. Something like this screwed the data of one of my campaigns just a few days ago. One traffic source kept sending me some crappy bot hits like this and they were clicking like mad. I had to block it too, because it wouldn't stop even thou I paused the campaign. Im glad you found the problem!
I think I didn't...
You see, some landers still have many clicks - http://image.prntscr.com/image/4a364...48930a25e6.png
So, there can be two reason. As you said before - scripts, and placement...
Anyway, glad it was useful for you
P.S.: Though... bots... it could be reason too.
Wow that's crazy placement!
Glad you discovered it.
Sorry I didn't think about it earlier, but there are so many things that could happen and go wrong. For example yesterday one of my TS updated their UI and suddenly all my old/deleted campaigns showed up as active. It was spending like a crazy.
