These days, you can buy pretty much anything
I remember sites like microworkers.com, people would like your FB site for a few cents there... I'm sure you could find plenty of guys on fiverr who would drive your likes count up ... the question is the quality of such likes. Many will be done from "fake" accounts so there will be no engagement resulting from this.
If you want to buy likes, try to use FB ads, they can deliver tons of likes and depending on your niche, it can be pretty cheap.

Your post/ad will possibly gain more trust with more likes/reactions/shares, so smart move to test out ofcourse.
Quality of the likes/shares/reactions (in normal english ofcourse) isn't really relevent then.

Depends on what the OP is looking for.
According to my experience, when speaking about organic reach - you can have a huge "likes" base, but if a post doesn't start to get likes soon after it get's posted, the reach will be limited. And fake likes won't engage.

If your fanpage has a lot of likes (bought), but your post doesn't, that will have no/little impact indeed, agree.
According to his/her post I think he/she wants to buy likes/reactions/shares on a post, which have huge impact (fake or not) on further performance.
I "always" start my post with some loves, likes, wows from pages I own, just to give it some ammo when I start promoting on "cold" audience. Also the post will stand out a bit more with the emoticons in sight.

Yup, promoting something that already had a lot like or shares will definitely improve the reactions from the targeted audience, so definitely agree with what you posted.
I guess, the OP could specify more what he's after

Does buying links/comments etc. hurt your FB account though? Will things like that get you banned? Am interested cause personally think a minimum amount of likes etc. is useful to increase trust.

To my understanding, the only way to 'buy likes' legitimately is via Facebook Ads platform. Have also heard while attending the recent AWA BKK conference that selling FB accounts will get you banned as well.

But can you buy it for a FB ad though? (assuming your ad is not targeting likes and targeting conversion or CPA etc.) The issue of the FB ad is when i'm testing them they always start at zero likes which in my opinion means the first few $$$ are usually not very indicative of its true potential since it needs a few likes before it gets going.

Add some likes yourself, from FB pages you made in the past to give it a start. Most definitely the CR will be higher if your ad presents itself more trustworthy with likes, reactions and shares! You can buy likes/loves etc on a post for sure. Never tested myself but I don't think it will harm your account, since to Facebook it looks all positive right?
