Okay so we have been discussing on how to set up an agency account on Facebook. So I really interested to find out on what are the offers that are legit on Facebook?
Can dating (safe from mywot) be considered as legit? Gaming offers? Download offers?
Where does the line cut between legit and bad offers?
I hope we can start a discussion on this and of course, pink unicorn is always welcome to give his valued opinion on this...
Thanks in advanced!
Most general dating offers are legit. But it's the ads that get people into trouble. FB dating is 99% about getting as much cleavage in your images as possible. Unfortunately FB don't like dem titties.
Gaming offers are great they have been around for yonks and ain't going away. But once again as soon as you start going for gamer cleavage, things fall apart.
If you keep within FB ad terms, then those offers are legit. I know people with "special" corportate FB accounts that running dating and gaming.
Daily Deal offers are always legit, and can be profitable with the right optimization. And as mentioned above, gaming for the most part is legit.
I was actually killing an offer called "StyleMint" ($.9+ EPC's) before the advertisers blocked off social traffic..guess it didn't back out for them, or they're still checking to see if leads back out over the long period.
gaming FTW.....a few bad apples out there but for the most part most are good....
simple... look at any offer that has a GREEN ranking from WOT and AVAST. you should be fine
haha yeah I always thought WOT is used to check those blacklisted offers.
Thanks guys for your opinion!
ya, that's a little 'secret' I have been trying to get out to all with-out blatantly say it... like TIJN and his SSL clue
you can really 'abuse' it too.
set up agency account... do WOT/AVAST/MACFEE 'safe' offers, so you are 'mr. good guy' then create an umbrella business that 'other' campaigns are run with.
and dont think for a moment large companies do NOT do this or some large people in our industry. [think radio shack: tandy & pioneer/sony/ibm...oh ya that's how make's that stuff]
get lawyers, s-corps, intl business involved and you can really have 'fun'
'there is no black or white...just shades of gray and rainbow hues'
