Hello all,
Can anyone recommend a good payment processor that isn't opposed to accepting payments from trial offers?
As trial offers AKA continuity billing is generally looked at as high risk, only certain payment merchants choose to work with trial offer market, especially based in US. Our approach would be much more targeted so I'm not worried about the customer quality or insane amount of chargebacks but a good reference would at least point us in a positive direction.
Any insight would be helpful
If you aren't worried about chargebacks, most payment processors will take trial if it's well under 1%, depending on a few other variables as well. You want to be more picky with your payment processing choices when you are going above that 1% chargeback mark. There are only a few processors that are okay with that, to an extent.
What kind of product? What price point(s)? What's the trial timeframe?
Hey mighty one,
It depends on what you're doing, maybe you can answer some of jhill247 his questions on that.
If you want to get MID accounts on your own name, make sure you have decent credit score, some money in the bank.
Going through merchant account services might a good start since they have the relationships with the processors that accept this kinda of model.
I can introduce you to a few but it helps to understand your intentions first.
