How to maunally check carrier flow

*Excuse the typo in the title. I can't edit it*

I've been using Opera and andy andriod with a vpn to check carrier flows with PIN offers. The thing is I can only check the WIFI flow and not the carrier flow. I've noticed that the user will have to go through different steps and maybe even see a whole different page if they are using a carrier.

I need to see this and adjust my landers accordingly.

Pretty much know that if the user is coming from WIFI they are going to have to enter a mobile number.

As of right now I'm not 100% sure whether the user coming from a carrier needs to enter a mobile number ---> send sms ---> reply to sms or 1 click subscribe type of offer.

How do you figure out the offer flow manually?

Usually the offer information will display what kind of content submit it is. You might want to check with your affiliate manager or offer provider to get more information on the offer. They should be able to ask the advertiser, or have that information offhand.

I wrote a post about this but there isn't a cheap solution. You can check out the thread here:

One option is to sign up with GeoEdge but it can become expensive really quick.

What Sam suggested can work but I've found that many times the advertiser or affiliate network doesn't provide the exact lander or screenshots of the lander. And with many offers not lasting very long, it isn't always worth the time to hunt down more detailed info.. I'd rather move on. But if the offer is stable and consistent, that would be different.

I was going through this thread to understand the conversion flows.

http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ight=Click2SMS

My offer says "Conversion Flow: Click2SMS on mobile, MO flow on desktop"

According to the thread -

MO FLOW --> "User input his mobile number > User receives an SMS > User confirms by replying to SMS > conversion occurs." That's what I originally thought when I said WIFI users have to put in their number

MO Flow with Click2SMS --> User clicks on banner > User sent to SMS application with the pre-filled confirmation form > User clicks on the confirmation button > conversion occurs.

My offer just says Click2SMS. Is MO Flow with Click2SMS the same thing? I'm thinking since the offer doesn't say MO flow that there is no pre-filled info and the user just has to click on a confirmation button to subscribe.

What I do in cases like this is : I ask the AM to show me a screenshot of the offer LP, they usually have them. That's as much as I need to know. I use the best LP for that kind of offer and test the performance with the traffic they ask for. In the end, I don't really care about all the details of the flow, I want to see how it performs with my standard ways of promotions. In case I feel that detailed flow transition could help it, I might dig deeper, but usually it's enough to follow the basic offer characteristics.
