hello guys,
today what i want to ask is this, i need to know what is the difference between running traffic from pops as popads... and running traffic from inmobi,go2mobi and startapp.
what i mean is that i know that popads, popcash, propeller ads is for pop traffic but what i need to know is what is inmobi,go2mobi and start app for?
how they work and which kind of offers fits them .
regards
The second groups are mostly in the DSP/banner category, so as addition to your landing page you need to have also creatives (banners).
Banner traffic works by showing the user a banner on the website they are browsing, or app. This can vary in size, from 320x50 to big interstitials that cover the whole screen.
In terms of what type of offers work for it, apps are an option, then all sorts of leadgen I've heard is possible. Honestly, on STM display hasn't shown too much success for affiliate offers.
I know a few people who got it working but at this very moment, I don't know anybody who uses mobile display on those platforms as their main traffic source. Not saying there are no such people, just that they are less common.
I suggest giving AdPlexity a try and see what you discover is running on those traffic sources. That would be your best option, by far
Hello, mate!
There's a difference between running traffic for pops or for display. The networks you described have this main difference: on the one hand, there are the ones which are focused on pops, in which the user is directed straight to the offer without needing to click the banner or ad beforehand; on the other hand, you've got the ones that are focused on display traffic, in which you have to include banners for the user to click on and then be directed to the offer.
These two different types of traffic have different characteristics. For example, pop traffic is usually more expensive, considering the offer will be shown directly to the user without the need for an additional step (the click on the ad).
In general, when people are just starting their affiliate marketing journey, they prefer working with pops, because you don’t have to worry about creating banners.
Regarding the type of offers: one could say that CPI offers tend to work well with banners, while Sweeps work better with pops, for example. But there's no special, foolproof formula. It also depends a lot on the traffic source and the quality of traffic for each type.
You should clearly define the type of offer you wanna work with and the traffic source - if possible, pick one that is known to be good for this type of offer.
Hope I've been able to help you out!
Cheers!
