Hello!
I need some help because i think im doing something in a wrong way.
I started my campaign in 2 different ad networks.
It took me about 4-5 days to do this:
1. I tested 5 offers. Took one with best roi.
2. I made a new campaign with only one offer and 5 LP's
3. I took 1 LP that was best.
4. I made 4 another LP's same kind but with different elements.
5. I saw a winner and i was happy.
So i made another new campaign with only one offer and only one LP.
1st day:
Traffic source #1: ROI 17%
Traffic source #2: ROI 191%
Great. I thought it was good results. Because it's like in guides! Optimization = win!
I made some analyze work with Traffic source#1.
2nd day:
Traffic source #1: ROI 77% ! (its nice when your work gives you some results!)
Traffic source #2: ROI -12% ! (whaaat ???)
So im a little upset now.
I want to ask - is it normal that some day you have +xxx ROI and another day -xx roi ?
Its like a poker? I must see the results on distance?
And i wonder what to do, if swap days. I mean 2nd day will become 1st day. And i'v had -12% roi on the winner offer and winner LP.
There are several possible reason for this, but before we even try to find the reason, what was the volume per campaign per day? Traffic/conversions/revenue.
Day 1:
1st source: 11,235 - 12 conversions
2nd source: 5,131 - 15 conversions
Day 2:
1st source: 4,037 - 6 conversions (lack of traffic caused by cutting category which gave -roi before).
2nd source: 4,407 - 5 conversions
Ok, as I expected, the problem can be related to low volume. We're talking just a bunch of conversions here - how much $ was it actually?
Day to day fluctuations are normal, especially with low volume. I think this campaign also ran on the weekend right? Working days can perform very differently too.
More volume, spread across a longer time frame will stabilize the results.
Thanks matuloo.
I'll try to look at the distance.
BTW can you please advise some traffic sources where i can use aggressive landings without cloak ?
