How do they monetize? You're not doing any type of FB connect, it seems like a more high tech version of a chain email... but the monetization seems to escape me. Anyone have a clue?
It's spread by sharing it on your facebook then after you leave a comment on their page it redirects you to a starbucks email submit.
So how do you do this? ? ? ?Is this an app or what ?
yeah it will be a fb app.
with the fb javascript API you can basically 'listen' for users that arrive on your page and either like it or leave a comment.
then with javascript you can redirect them to another page.
Is this taken down now? It doesn't appearing to be showing for me anyway.
I saw this yesterday and it's a genius idea.
that's a good idea for promoting non-trademarked offers. Set up a lander that says "Like us on FB and get <benefit>". Traffic spreads virally through FB and if you have a good offer that Facebook doesn't hate.... schwiiiing!
