I am new a member to STM and loving it so far. This is my first post and hope someone can help me out. My inquiry is how do i set up a pixel that requires two conditions to be met until it is a conversion.
Basically, I am promoting a product on Facebook, and I want a conversion to be counted only if the customer had viewed the product and make it though the checkout (this will count as one conversion). Both of these events must happen.
Would this be the correct way of setting up the pixel conditions?
For "Include traffic that meets the following conditions:", just right after select the pixel.
I put the URL must contain the url keywords "checkout" AND
"product" (an example)
Would this mean that the customer must first view this product first and consequently check out with the product to count as a conversion?

Is there some logical scenario where someone could go down the checkout funnel for your product without viewing the product page first? If not, your thank you page pixel is all you need.
If you do need both conditions to be met, then your suggestion is accurate. It would only count conversions for traffic that visited both the URLs specified. If someone were to purchase your product without visiting the product page first, your custom conversion would not be triggered.
Keep in mind you only get 40 custom conversions. If you have a sizable product catalog, your unorthodox method might hit a ceiling soon enough.
