Google Analytics Spam (Trump Secret) (3)
Anybody had experience with spam in Google Analytics like the screenshot below?
"You are invited! Enter only with this ticket URL. Copy it. Vote for Trump!"
Did a little bit of digging and it looks like it's a common occurence with Google Analytic users.

It's sending me for example referral from sites like Reddit like the thread below:

Looks like that whole Reddit thread is full of people stating that they're getting the same referral traffic from this link.
My question is, anybody have any idea of what's going on, what the flow is or benefit? I haven't visited the secret. google site (the G is like another language G) and definitely don't want to but I'm assuming there's probably going to be a virus waiting for me there and they're using that for identity theft?
It's a pretty old trick and I don't understand why google didn't do anything about it. Maybe they are using it to analyze something ... one way or another, it fucks up stats on small sites royally and it's getting on my nerves.
The goal, of those abusing this bug, is to get traffic from webmasters who will find it in their stats and search for what it means. Some people do this by directly forcing their URLs to show up in analytics ... I really wish that google would finally prevent this from happening.
Yeah referral spam and UTM tags spam is going on for years.
I don't believe they cannot fix it..
