Ads approved then disapproved shortly after?! (8)

Ads approved then disapproved shortly after?!

This has been happening to me and my intern the last few days. We will get ads approved and then before I can even start running them the same ads will be disapproved. Anyone know what is going on here?

The disapproval, by the way, is always based on the "content promoted." We are using clean sites with good WOT ratings, or no WOT rating.

I'm guessing this is with facebook, I've had this happen a number of times and unfortunately haven't found a way around retr-disapprovals. Best thing you can do is just keep trying to get the ads through..

But make sure you keep an even approval/disapproval ratio going. Also putting through the exact same ad too many times i've noticed can trigger a ban; even changing the smallest thing can help avoid this though (an exclamation mark or comma somewhere)

What content are you promoting, i.e. what offer are you sending them to? If they say it's inappropriate content then there will be a reason, you just need to figure out what it is.

I'm promoting skin care and weight loss. I send them to just simple pages like this where there is an description of the product and a purchase price (no rebill):

https://www.shinsoskincare.com/p_mist.php

Or

http://www.paullabrecque.com/La-Crem...FQYZQgodg3fi_Q

The ad copy has historically been something everyone else is using, for example:

Title: 1 Trick for no Wrinkles
Body: Follow this one simple trick to lose wrinkles and reduce signs of aging.

This is an example - I don't think the first line even fits. But nonetheless a good example of the kind of copy I'm using.

today, as in right now, all the ads i submit are almost insta-approved; kid you not. i make the set of ads, submit them, and then well within 5 minutes they're already through. pushed through more than one batch today; even slid a risque pic in that leveled @ .8 ctr, which is cool in my books. on this account i have a 100% approval rating, and i've seen this SUPER quick approval process before.

btw, i'm running coreg stuff, and they normally ban me pretty quick as of late. so it's no doubt something they're not the fondest of.

Nice. Yeah my approval rating must be 95%+ now, mainly because I'm running gaming internationally. I get approved pretty quick, have only been disapproved when I screwed up a redirect or some noob intern had a completely different opinion to everyone else. Am using an API so sometimes I submit 1000's of clean ads a day.

Back to OPs problem - Is your ad copy similar to above, i.e. you talk about following some trick or suggestion - but then send them to a product lander? If I was a Facebook intern I'd think that's misleading, because there is no trick or suggestion being given at the ad destination. If the lander is a straight up product being sold then they will probably expect you to mention the product in the ad copy. You could always make a lander, similar to the product site, which does offer some 'secret' tips and then leads them on to the product.

Just my thoughts.

Yeah I see the potential conflict there, but then again I've gotten that ad copy through. I'll try a few with super clean ad copy, very direct, and see if anything changes. By the way, I submit also ads for charities like Red Cross just to keep my ratio good, but I'm not sure how much that helps. Right now my ratio is about 50/50, but all of my commercial ads are being rejected.

Yeah change up those ad copies. And with ad approval ratings I have a feeling your approval rate for the certain types of ads being submitted are more important. I.e. if you have a very high disapproval rate for dating ads you are probably going to get more scrutiny submitting dating ads. Whereas if you submitted dodgy-ish gaming ads you may not be so immediately rejected.

Who knows what it's like on the other side, I bet they flag accounts in many different ways so that reviewers immediately know how to treat you....
