new affiliate - using bingad and 7 search with clickbank with no conversions (8)

hi, i'm new in the affiliate marketing and would appreciate yr insights and help.

i have promoted my product via click bank
in two different traffic sources : 7search (65,583 impressions 834 clicks) and bingad (4291 impr 25 clicks ctr 0.58%)

i even joined hypertracker for tracking my click and ROIbut nothing is happening.
i got lots of clicks and c impressions however no conversions.

what did i do wrong ?? already spent a lot of money!!
can someone pls assist me i have to suceed in this.

Hello, 7search is one of the worst sources you can go with. I wonder how they can still be around with all that crap they are selling. The money you spent there was pretty much wasted.

Bing is a better choice for sure, you should also look at adwords and facebook traffic, many people sell clickbank products there.

I'm not sure about hypertracker, doesn't look like a very advanced tool to me. There are certainly better ones out there.

How are you promoting the products actually? Do you have any landing pages prepared, or are you just direct-linking to clickbank sales pages? Selling something takes more than just sending a bunch of hits. Have you done some reading when it comes to working with this vertical?

hi, suprisingly i have much more clicks in 7 seach than in bing but i trust your experience and i will not run through them again.
am using vendor landing page i have not created my own landing page yet. i read that if no conversion suggest to create such.

1)adwords are much expensive for my first trials.. what do you suggest me to do now on..
2)for tracking system can you recommend on better tool suggested? (while first i need to understand how to generate conversions)

anything that you can direct me fromthis stage will be highly appreciated.

7search might have given you more clicks, but those clicks were not real, but most likely some bots. And you can't sell anything to bots so its pointless to buy them

Building your own landing pages, or ripping good ones from others is a very recommended thing to do.

When adwords search is too expensive, you can try google display network which is also accessible through adwords.

The top tracking solutions right now are, in no particular order : funnel flux, Voluum, Thrive Tracker, adsbrige.

At this stage, you should seriously do some spying and figure out how others are promoting the same products you plan to sell.

7search is cheap for a reason. You are getting lots of clicks on 7 search because they are fraudulent clicks and their network is filled with sites like http://www.adweek.com/news/technolog...ers-web-148032 who can't sell their fake traffic to anyone else so they are selling to you through 7search.

If you are doing PPC search, Stick with Bing search or Adwords search if you want high quality traffic.

I used to promote clickbank products using paid search traffic - that was almost a decade ago when traffic was cheaper and requirements were less strict. I was direct-linking to CB products and did quite well.

I tried 7search and never got good results. Yes, adwords traffic is more expensive, but it's for a good reason - the traffic converts!

If you want to continue promoting your own clickbank products, you basically have 2 options (I have no idea what your product is - but will throw some ideas out there that may spark some product-creation ideas):


1)Go niche. The majority of products on CB belong in this category. You'll need very targeted traffic, where you're targeting either by keyword or at least by demographic, in order to get conversions.

Your choice of suitable traffic types would be paid search traffic (adwords/bing) or facebook.

To make search traffic work, you'll need to learn to keep costs low by writing attractive ads that will get high CTR. And of course, you'll also need to test lots of keywords. Start with the most-targeted long-tail keywords you can find. If you don't even get conversions with those, then there's little point in testing less-targeted keywords.


2)Go broad. There are SOME products on CB that will appeal to the general audience. Examples of such products I've promoted in the past are "watch satellite TV on your computer" software, and male enhancement exercise ebooks.

These have a chance of doing well when promoted to broad traffic. Male enhancement books for example can do well on adult traffic sources. And honestly, they're not that difficult to write (disclaimer: I have no idea with regards to the legalities of creating such products so please exercise due diligence.)

If you want to stick with infoproducts/ebooks, clickbank is your best choice actually.
