If your bidding on URLs and you bid on the domain name itself ( domain.com ) and that domain just happens to always be served to the user as https:// instead of http://, is the TV pop gonna happen?
Im noticing that traffic is a lot less on my campaigns and some of the URLs I noticed are SSL in nature and I am trying to weed out if its the SSL or the lost volume TV has had recently.
Anyone know 110% for sure if a user hit a URL you bid on and it turns out as https://, if the TV ad is popped?
Im gonna check it myself on my Virt. machine, but would like to hear other thoughts.
From testing TV a while back I found that they dont pop or insert textads over https pages. Same thing for 50onRed - they dont insert textlinks on https!! (hint hint)
lol. OH thank you so much tijn
understood loud and clear
crazy, I got TV to pop ( thought very fucking rare ) on a https page yesterday. No text links on that page though.
It was a page I was bidding on, and Im #1 bidder for, but my URL didnt pop.. one of those big brand RON type buys did instead.
Interesting.
