We all have a hard time resisting the "30 celebrities you won't be able to recognize today" ads. How are you guys creating your viral arb. sites? HTML/CSS, Wordpress, or another content management system? How are you creating 20-40 page slideshows with relative ease?
Most of them are Wordpress using plugins for the slideshow format or a paid template with the functionality built in ( you can even do it manually using shortcodes in each post <Next Page> as an example after each image you add in the same post ( show the ad image as one of the last ones to get them to click all the way through to page 30), then they just pay someone from Fiverr or similar to knock out the content usually ripped from other viral sites and rehashed. You need pretty huge traffic numbers to monetize them if your using Adsense, Revcontent etc If you happen to get one of the posts viral from FB and other SM it can send a huge spike but it's not that easy to do it regularly. Personally I think these types of sites are not the way forward with FBs new click bait algorithm and just the general competition in general.
WP theme is the easiest way to go, to echo Jasona.
There are many ways to go about creating content. You can go very broad or very niche and hire people to write, spin articles etc.
Then like any other website you have the Organic side to traffic, FB put a big dent in that, but if you have a very niche specific authority site, SEO can bring you traffic over time.
Shorter term, buying traffic and doing the arbitrage scheme requires traffic to begin with. Revcontent won't talk to you if you're not getting already a few 100K eyeballs a month.
I'm sure there is a way to solve that problem.
