how to scale your successful campaigns ?

i want ask you a question
if you have for example 4 successful campaigns on one traffic source
the best way to grow your profit is by searching for new offers to promote on this traffic source ?
or searching for new traffic sources to promote those 4 offers on it ?

My opinion is both!

1. If you know the trafficsource and know what's working on it, i would chose for more offers (could be in different verticals).

2. But in case if you know what kind of offers work, with what kind of banners/angles/landingpages, you can test them on other trafficsources.

It's just a matter of testing it!

I vote for both too, because : If you have 4 campaigns profitable on a source, you know that source is solid and you can definitely find more offers that would work there - same vertical or not. And on the other hand, if you made an offer profitable in one place, you know that offer is solid and it should definitely work on other sources too.

The easier path to take should be looking for other sources to push the same offer on, because you already have a proven channel at your disposal.

If you got a working campaign (lander + offer + traffic source) what you can do first is to scale on the same source.

You can do it by raising your bids or duplicating your campaign or even create multiple accounts if the network allows it.

The second thing is to scale to another sources. There are probably xx another sources around where your campaign could work.

It won't work everywhere, but you just have to test them one by one.

Somewhere there will be lot of bots, somewhere low volume, but you don't find out until you test. (hint: small volume doesn't always mean it's not worth to try - the traffic may be cheaper and you can get some crazy high ROIs if you are lucky).

You can also find other offers and test them on a lower % of traffic, maybe you will find one that performs better or at least its always good to have backups and diversify traffic.

You can try more banner sizes on the same traffic source.
