If you were going to sell a self-authored ebook...

Would you sell it via clickbank, or would you set up a paypal merchant arrangement or perhaps something else?

I was thinking clickbank would be the best way to go because of the affiliate aspect.

stay far far away from paypal right now....soooooo many guys have had trouble lately anything that smells of an aff product they will kill your account and hold funds.....

I have a baby sleeping help type book and also am working on a diet ebook.

I would like affiliates, so probably go with clickbank.

Clickbank for sure.

Paypal will freeze your account for no reason and their customer support is non existent.

personally, I would hit

Clickbank
ejunkie
and similar programs to clickbank.. the more affiliates you can reach out to, the better with these programs. I would also look at the Amazon self publishing unit as then Amazon affiliates could also sell for you.

Yes, I personally love clickbank

And they keep getting better each year -- just a few of the things they've introduced in the last couple years:

-- physical products
-- continuity/trial offers/etc
-- JV feature (can set up certain products to give percentages in case you're running a partnership, etc)
-- Pitch Plus (1-click upsells) for EVERYONE now ...

pretty cool company, I highly recommend them.

Of course some people don't like the higher percentage they take at the POS and whatnot but for the customer service and handling aff payments and all that to me it's worth it. Plus, yeah there are a lot of aff's there.

Agreed. I'm happy giving them their fee in exchange for taking all that off my plate vs a smaller fee and I have to do more
