Launched two new accounts on OutBrain for content marketing/viral news and my sites were blocked when the ads were reviewed. How exactly are you guys getting access to OutBrain? My sites were reasonably high quality and been running on FB for a couple of months.
I received the following:
Thanks for setting up a new campaign with Outbrain`s Amplify!

Maybe you could show a screenshot of your site so other people who market on Outbrain can give their thoughts?
If you on a self serve account, your going to find the global team are very trigger happy on that disapprove button.
If your running WH try to reach out direct to get account managed - your AM can then set your account for their approvals.
Well, I think the email is pretty self explanatory.
Essentially Outbrain is "renting" ad space from their publishers like CNN.com, CBS.com, etc. They want their readers to see ads that are in line with their own brands and reputations. If they complain to Outbrain, then Outbrain really does not have much of a choice if they want to keep the publisher.
I've been running into this issue too lately, anyone figure it out?
PM me if your willing to work together on this, I've made some progress but still not 100%, I think I am just missing a piece or two so will keep testing. I will figure it out eventually but working together and sharing what we have tried will really speed up the process.
I've heard this from others that Outbrain is trying to move away from heavily paginated advertisers. It might be your nitche also. If you have something that pushes the limit like "10 celebrities who don't wear panties", they may not want that to appear on their publishers. I'm in the health nitche and don't have issues with Outbrain banning.
