LeadImpact - Limited Scalability?

Seems like there's limited inventory; hard to scale, gauge results. Am I just doing it wrong?

Niches:
-Weight Loss
-Financials (CR's)

I think their current user base is about 10 million.

While it's not like media buys , I have done $3k days on the finance niche on LI alone.

there could be a number of reasons why your targets get low traffic on LI:

1) wrong targets -> ie not many visitors
2) a competitor is bidding on the same or a similar keyword and gets most of the traffic

with leadimpact, sometimes i dont know if i'm supposed to keep 50-100 KW's at a time, or if 5-10 are good enough. but with the latter, i barely get traffic.

how many KW's do you guys typically end up with after fully optimizing your campaign, and how many hits can i expect to get from LI in 1 day?

I use few keywords per test ( 10-20 ) but they are generally high traffic ones.

With high traffic I mean with an alexa rank smaller than 50k.

i use a similar process that phoenix set out in one of his posts.

I put in loads (100s) of targets, set budget to $5, spend the budget, keep the top 10-15 targets with most traffic until I spend 1-2x offer payout and then pause. When I tested the top 10-15 I move on to the next 15. Etc etc etc.
