Low Conversion Rates in the States

Hey,

Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing lower then average conversion rates today?

We are running on FB traffic in the US.. Not sure if its because of Americans being so occupied with the elections or something else.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

The elections definitely have an impact on traffic and sales, but it should definitely be just a short span, few days max.

No impact of the donald here (yet) on our volumes, CR and eCPM!

No surprise that there was slight drop during the vote counting - everyone glued to the tv / twitter - back to normal now?

Yeah we saw a massive negative impact on reach and distribution especially during the day before and during the election ... this was not just in the US, but also in UK.

Traffic seems to be back closer to normal now.

I also usually see one pattern repeat itself when something like this happens, when traffic is down for a few days, once the event that caused it is over, the next few days have more traffic than normal. So it kinda compensates for the previous loss.

Engine,

Same issue here - traffic levels not much different but my CR's taken a real kicking...looks as though starting to improve now though...

Yep, conversion rates seem to have picked up for us too now!
