How much does the Landing Page URL (name) affect performance/conversions? (eg. trackingurl.com vs. niche-specific-url.com --> landing page that goes to the offer)
I'm wondering if I should buy different domain names just for different offers or niches to have the url of the landing page to match the industry/name of the offer.
The effect is very small, in many cases there is no effect at all, especially on mobile where the full URL is not visible at all.
It makes sense to get a domain to match certain verticals, weightloss or fitness for example. But usually, using a directory or subdomain is more than enough.
Stick to generic domains and you will be fine.

Just purchase a generic domain like com-123.com and play with subdomains: getfit.com-123.com.
As the whole URL won't fit to address bar on mobile it will look more authoritative.
Of course be careful with using trademarks and brand names
