Ripping banners from Adplexity, do I simply run the icon/logo banners on Display now?

Sorry for the confusing title, but say I rip a few banners from Adplexity. I get 5 banners, all utility, let's say "Trash Manager", "DU Cleaner" banners.

These banners are simply icons featuring the app's image/logo.

Do I just plop these onto my Traffic Source's creative section, (display in this case), and voila, customers will click on them?

I ask because I've seen these Icon/Logo banners for apps on mobile websites, and they always have the name of the app below, say "Trash Manager: Speed up your phone in minutes!"

But if I proceed to rip these banners and plop them onto my traffic source, there's no section for me to insert that little blurb at the bottom. So I imagine when I set up the campaign, that creative will be sent to mobile websites/in-apps, but it would just be the picture, and no minor text indicating what the app is, if the logo is confusing.

Am I missing something here, or should I just shut the fuck up and take action?

Hello,

this depends on the traffic source. They define the the format of the AD itself. In some cases, it's just the image. But some networks, for example pretty much all native ads networks, also utilize some text :headline, short description etc ...

These icons are usually used in native sources, some of them ask for a LOGO or something like that in order for the ad to look like there is some BRAND behind it.
