Difference Between subscribed & Non Subscribed List

Hello,

I'm new in email marketing and i have access of millions of email list(not scraped or sh**t list) but none of subscribed or opted in.

I want to know that what's the difference between optin and not optin list? i mean suppose i'm going to use aweber to send 1000 not opted in list then how aweber will know that my list is opted or not if i'll tell them that my list is opted
The question is how any mail service provide know that my list is optin or not?

I don't have resource to get optin list and i have big database of raw list. so i just want to figure out how to send them email in inbox.

Please help me here.

Thank you.

They probably will notice based on bounce rate / spam reports. Shooting on a raw list is quite tricky, but some make good money on it.
Not sure how strict aweber is ofcourse. If they have enough IP's and are used to people burning them they will be oke.

Shooting on a non optin list is also pure spamming, which puts you in a position to take the risk yes or no.

So based on you there is no way they can tell that my list is optin or not unless i specify them. right?

I don't understand how you can have access to millions of emails without any mailing experience and you still say its not a scrapped or shitty list. Obviously, it is a scrapped or auto-generated shitty list or maybe a result of someone hacking some DB. Quality lists are not cheap and they are hard to come by. Mailing to these users is spamming as Gijs pointed above. It will result in a high bounce/complaints rate and any "whitehat" email provider like aweber will not want to work with you.

If you really want to use a list like that, look for bullet-proof bulk mailing providers that do not care who they email to and send those emails some invitation to actually optin for something.

They can't check from the list if it's opt-in yes or no. How can they check if email adress X has opted in for a certain website/shop/list/service. They can't.

Maybe based on the setup of the list, for example; 12345@gmail.com, 67890@gmail.com, 11111@gmail.com etc etc they will see it's shit and probably decline your request to use aweber. Matuloo saying aweber is whitehat email provider, so I would indeed look for another platform
