alipartnership.com

I see a lot of threads on Shopify here, wondering if anyone is also working with aliexpress+ali express plugin. I am currently setting up a niche site using their plugin, seem like a good way to do ecommerce to me. Anyone with more expreience with alipartnership can share downsides to this program other then maybe commission rates?

The commission rate will be the main problem in my opinion, how much do they offer? Programs like these are usually build with organic traffic in mind, but for paid traffic to work, larger margins are pretty much mandatory.

8% basic commissions plus some incent commissions scheme for new customers and volume if I remember correctly

Yup, I was afraid it would be something like this. Programs like this are good for review sites for example, it gives you a ton of products to review and sell for a commission - traffic is usually organic from google etc, so the small commission isn't a problem. But it's almost impossible to make this work with paid traffic.

yea when you think of the numbers it really doesn't make sense with paid traffic. Maybe if you build a lot of them per niche and give them a decent SEO presence.

Yes, these are the perfect programs to use for SEO sites, along with amazon, shareasale ... you can build sites around their products and fight for your share of organic traffic. You could build solid passive income by building sites like this.

Get the alidropship.com plugin instead and do your own store. Pushing the developer to get most of the features on Shopify that we need to run paid ads successfully. If you're able to run one platform along with paid ads and seo then you won't have to bother with all the apps Shopify upsell you to get things done.

the problem with Shopify is the cost by the time you add in the cost of Shopify plus the addons you need it can be $300-400 a month per site. you can recreate everything shopify does with woocommerce or using alidropship
